COMMUTER BENEFITS PARTICIPANT WELCOME INFORMATION

Dear Spending Account Participant,

Welcome! We are excited that you have elected to participate in a Commuter Benefit plan. The administration of your Spending Account plan is provided by ADP Spending Account Services. You can now access your Spending Accounts benefits information online, by visiting the website. You will be asked to establish a user name and password for ongoing access to the website.

 

 

If you are participating in a Health Based Spending Account Plan, a debit card is being printed and fulfilled. You should have received a card at your home address.  Please note that cards are mailed in a white-window envelope with the ADP logo and a return address of P.O. Box 247001, Omaha, NE 68124-7001. Additionally, please note that cards will not be forwarded to a "forwarding address," due to security restraints. Instead, any such cards will be returned to our card vendor with the new address provided by the post office. A new card will be created and re-mailed to the new address.

 

 

Below are instructions on how to access your Commuter Benefits information online:

 

 

Logging into the Spending Account Website as a first time user:

 

Open your internet browser and go to https://myspendingaccount.adp.com

Click on “New Users – Register Here”

Enter required information

Click Next

Enter Generic Registration Code:  STATESECU-41133

You will then be prompted to create your user name and password and add security questions

The ADP Commuter Spending Account Debit Card is a convenient, reloadable card that’s available for qualified Transit or Parking purchases. Qualified expenses are determined by the IRS.

Your card can be used for debit or credit transactions to make qualified transit or parking purchases. Debit purchases can be made where Debit Visa® cards are accepted by entering the PIN associated with your card. Credit purchases can be made where Visa is accepted by selecting “Credit” at the time of purchase. Your card cannot be used for cash advances or to make cash withdrawals. Funds loaded from your transit spending account cannot be used to purchase parking products or vice versa. But, don’t worry, your card knows which products you’re purchasing!

 

Transit

The ADP Commuter Spending Account Debit Card can be used at Transit Agencies, fare vending machines, kiosks

and designated transit retail centers that sell only transit passes, tickets, fare cards, and van pool passes. The card cannot be used at retail locations (gift shop, pharmacy, etc.) that sell products other than transit media. You are not able to submit claims online for Transit expenses, the only way to use your Transit funds is to use the ADP Commuter Debit Card.

 

Please note: that for the Transit plan, the debit card is restricted to being used up to $255.00 per month. You cannot use your debit card for more than $255.00 per month even if you have more than $255.00 as you available balance.

 

Parking

The Commuter Check Card can be used at qualified parking facilities nationwide.
